When I wrote "trimming," I was referring to someone's suggestion that we trim our emails when responding. By "trimming" the person meant deleting the previous email thread.

I agree with all of the suggestions except trimming.

There is no valid reason to require trimming..

I beg to differ with Kent who suggests deleting the thread instead of adding
to it. I find it easy to click on reply instead of going into the website
and I also find it perfect to see the thread in my mailbox without having to
plough through the website to remind myself of previous posts.I also wish
everyone would show their model and number so we know what we are writing
