Call Peter Grimm at Super Sailmakers in Fort Lauderdale. His company has
made complete suits of sails for more than 50 of my customers Super Maramu's
and is well experienced in what it takes to get it right the first time. He
has built sails for boats on the other side of the planet that he has never
seen, based on his knowledge and previous experience with the Super Maramu.
He has all the required measurements to make sails that fit as good or
better than what the boat came with originally. He offers a vertical batten
main that really performs well. All of the sails they make for our Amel
clients are strong and well put together with the emphasis on durable,
proven materials rather than gee whiz stuff that looks cool but often times
is not as long lasting. You cannot beat his prices. Tell him I sent you and
you get my discount. You can trust him and I believe the loft that sews
these specific Amel sails to his specification is in the Caribbean, saving
big shipping costs to you. Listen carefully to his advice. He grew up on
sailboats and has been making sails for my clients for more than 22 years.
You will be happy with the way he does business and with your new sails.
