The chain counter on the 54 is entirely different from the one on the 53. It
is an integral part of the Lewmar windlass. You need a Lewmar technical
manual to service it.

JP, The sensor comes up from the bottom and senses a magnet embedded in the
gypsey. You can check the connections in the forward locker for a start.

Unlike the Super Maramu, the sensor on the 54 does not appear to be
