Are you asking about the outhaul line on the main boom?  If so there are previous discussions that should be found by searching "outhaul line".  Amel uses a kevlar line, I believe.  It must be an extremely low stretch line that isn't too slick.  I don't remember what it was that I finally bought on the recommendation of this forum 5 years or so ago, but it was too slick.  On another forum recommendation, I sprayed it with contact glue which made it work until it had weathered enough to work without glue.

If that's not what you are asking about, I'm unclear.
