Trip of a lifetime

Sailorman <kimberlite@...>

My friend Eric Forsyth lost crew due to family issues. If you do not know of
him look at www.yachtfiona.com

He is a CCA Blue water medal recipient and has over 250,000 miles under his
keel.

I believe he has made this trip twice before. Also, 2 circumnavigations and
the northwest passage +++.

If I could get away, I would go with him.

He is currently in the Canaries on his way to Brazil shortly.

Fair Winds

CREW CALL FOR THE ANTARCTIC LEG, URUGUAY TO SOUTH AFRICA.

I am looking for two reasonably experienced yachties to help cruise
Antarctica during the brief southern summer. The plan is to leave Punta
del Este in early November, 2013, and arrive in Cape Town in mid- February,
2014. We will stop at the Falklands and the Antarctic Peninsula. The
exact route to South Africa depends on the ice conditions, with luck we will
be able to sail west along the coast using the prevailing easterly winds.
If ice extends too far north we will sail to the South Shetlands, South
Georgia and Tristan da Cunha. This will be Fiona's third Antarctic cruise.
I cover all of expenses of the cruise and in certain circumstances I may
assist with air fare for well qualified persons. I think this is the
chance of a lifetime for adventurous sailors who may never get the chance to
sail Antarctica any other way. A detailed schedule for the cruise is
posted at www.yachtfiona.com <http://www.yachtfiona.com/> . Contact
Captain Eric Forsyth via eforsyth1@... or wrb5236@... if I am
at sea.
