Bill, I bought the WiFI system you recommended from Island Time, a couple of months back. I followed Bob's instructions and i t worked perfectly in the kitchen at home. On ce I knew it was OK in US mode, I added the two extra European channels and it is packed up ready to take to the boat, in France, next weekend. I will report on the on-board results, but so far so good. Considering that I'm only marginally capable of operating a smart phone, I'm very impressed with the package. I would have spent almost as much on the components, going the DIY route, and still had to figure out how to get them working. Zero frustration factor so far, that's worth a lot. I am a real neophyte about this stuff so I called Bob and he explained how it all works. I now feel very comfortable with both the theory and practice and I can actually understand some of the other comments on this site. I plan to buy a setup from Bob next month and install it when I'm on board, in Sept. Thanks for the advice.
