hey stephanie,

i'm considering the Santorin. One question i have since I haven't been aboard one yet... How long are the settees in the main saloon? I'm just under six feet and want to make sure they'll both work as good sea berths.

thanks,

frank

From new members, Ezio & Stephanie DiBelardino:

Greetings from Bianca, a 1993 Santorin 46, that my husband recently purchased in Martinique through Caraibe Yachts. Under her previous owner, she French- flagged and home-ported in LaRochelle. Under my husband's ownership, that status will not change. Only her name has been changed to "Bianca."

She was recently delivered to our place in the Bahamas by Capt. Laurent Crozon of Guadaloupe, and in a week or so, we will take her to the Hinckley Boatyard in Stuart, FL. to have her hauled for the remainder of the hurricane season. In mid-November or slightly later, we will return with her to our place in the Bahamas, located in a finger canal on the southern end of the Lucayan Waterway, Grand Bahama Island.

We look forward to corresponding with this group and learning about the Amel boats. Over the years, my husband has owned a Cheoy Lee 36, a Pearson 36 motorsailer, a Tarten 42 or 43, a Nauticat 43 motorsailer, a Nordhaven 47 trawler, and, for a very brief period, a Boston Whaler 305 Conquest with 2-250 hp engines. It was owning this fast, small fuel-sucking vessel that made him realize he is a sailer at heart.

Fair Winds,
Stephanie DiBelardino
