Pat & Dave Similiar to Bill we ditched our Globalstar. We use the Iridium. Text messages are free. We buy 500 minutes per year at 1.50 per minute. These can be rolled over if a further 500 minutes is purchased within the year. We have over 1400 minutes from these rollovers. We also use our phone to download Grib files for weather when at sea.
