What do you liveaboards carry in the way of insurance?

Depends entirely on where you live or sail as well as the value of the
yacht. Recently was quoted a premium of just over $6,000 per year for only
500k coverage in Caribbean (requirement of NOT being within hurricane box
during season July through Nov). This quote was for a 2003 SM2. Received
comparable quotes from both American Marine Services and IMIS for Jackline
Policy.

Can you give me a rough idea of how much I should allow for?
Husband and wife normal crew.

Are their any brokers that give preferential rates to Amels?
