Sulajon SM # 347

I am selling my 2001 Amel Super Maramu 53' ketch docked in front of Johnny Hassan's at Nanny Cay Marina, Tortola British Virgin Islands office for the past 12 years. She is hull #347 and very lightly used. Johnny has taken care of her since I sailed Sulajon from Europe in 2002. She is fully equipped and maintained. She has never been chartered, in fact I have always been her captain, no other person has ever sailed her without me on board. She is a practically new example of an Amel SM 53'. The turbo Yanmar has approximately 930 hours of use. Johnny has a nearly new 150% Genoa as I had a 110% jib made in 2003 and have used it ever since. The balooner and all hardware, poles and lines were only used in the Atlantic crossing.
All system are in tip top shape, maintained by the same crew for the past 12 years where I sailed from 6 weeks/season to as little as 2 weeks, otherwise the boat sat at the dock, or on the hard.

I am the first and only owner. I have two freezers beneath the dinette, the 160 liter per hr water maker with spare filters, a large supply of spare parts, a bow thruster with spare props, a RIB with a new motor, new batteries, complete electronics with two autopilots.
The boat has 3 zones of air conditioning, a 160 liter/hour fresh water maker, a 7 KW generator, a bow thruster, a fixed fiberglass dodger with an operable helm window, a bimini top, an extension with side curtains for cool weather, numerous lockers and storage areas, a hard bottom dingy with a brand new Tohatsu 6 HP outboard motor all suspended on stainless steel davits off of the stern with a winch to assist in the lift. a walk in engine room, a refrigerator and two refrigerator/freezers, roller furling jib and main sail, all electrically operated, a windlass, a roler furling mizzen sail, spare sails galore. There remains a couple zones of electric heat as part of the main saloon and forward Vee berth areas, two heads with holding tanks, macerator pumps, a dry, odor free bilge, several watertight bulkheads, two spare anchors with rode, extensive tools and spare parts, a SSB, a radar, a GPS, full electronics, an
Imarsat mini M  phone for off shore use, a microwave oven, a washer and dryer. a dishwasher which I never used once, pots, pans, plates, silverware, linens for 6 people, two laptops, safety equipment including EPIRB, flares, hand held GPS, brand new batteries (there are eight 6 volt house batteries and one 12 volt start battery), an 8 person off shore life raft just reconditioned and tested.  A diving compressor with a regulator and 50' of air supply hose and diving weights. A Sony TV with VCR & DVD. An AM/FM radio with CD player and both cabin and cockpit speakers. Many tools and miscellaneous items accumulated over 12 years. A Wirie internet broadband booster/router.
