Bill, thank you so much for posting this treatise on anchor chains. I now know what my old chain is! I know what to ask for! I get it! I don't know where you found this info, Bill, but it mustn't have been easy...I searched the web for hours looking for it and never found it. I've contacted several chain distributors and asked, but none of them could tell me what kind of chain I had. If I could, I'd give you a giant hug...but I guess you'll have to settle for my best "You DA man!" Your post will help countless boat owners figure out what they need.
