Kent, I just looked at the wiring for the triatic and the antenna was for my now antique furuno weather fax. I think I will have the boat re rigged when I am back in the Caribbean with a turnbuckle in the triatic and also install a set of shorter backstays as the turnbuckles are full closed. Possibly the shorter triatic will solve the problem.
The mast is only bent above the spreaders. Fair Winds Eric Kimberlite SM 376

Hi Eric. Is it plumb from the spreader down? If you tighten the lower back stays and loosen the lower fore stays, that would bring the lower part of the mast forward a little and straighten it if the top doesn't move??? It might make the whole mast lean forward a little, but I doubt enough that you could see it. Kent
