Find the big black negative cable from your start battery, it will come from the battery compartment with the big red positive cable, and follow it.
If the solenoid exists, that's where it will terminate. the other side of the solenoid will go to the engine block
If the solenoid has been removed, the black cable will more than likely terminate on the engine block or some steel part attached to the block.
