I gave my experience as recently as December. I'm travelling now so cannot give you a better user-group reference. Your condition sounds like voltage drop, like mine. If your batteries show good voltage but your fridge indicates inadequate voltage, you should try replacing the whole circuit of cabling to and from the compressor. If you don't do this, a new fridge may suffer the same problem.
