Alex,
I have the 100hp Yanmar, so I am not
the best person to ask. I do carry a spare starter, but not
a spare 12V alternator. The reason being that the only thing
that alternator charges is the starting battery...and the
12V alternator on the generator also charges the starting
battery...and if both alternators fail (very, very
unlikely), you can use one of the 12V house batteries to
jump-start.

months ago, said there was some parts recommend to
absolutely have for an extended cruise…

Possibly something about a solenoid or may be a fuse?
Can't remember.

Also please don't hesitate to let me know which parts
you would stock (aside hoses, belt, injectors, thermostats,
filters)

I was also recommended (by a Volvo mechanic) a spare starter
and alternator (12 volt).
