I have recently read of four or five transmission oil cooler problems. In getting prepared for our Atlantic Crossing, I decided to buy one of the Bowman DC60-XAA with 3367 rubber end caps from the Bowman distributor in Malta. It was 105 euro, delivered. He said the biggest failure that that has seen from these coolers is the over-tightening of the hose clamps. He said to be careful because the metal is a copper-nickle and will bend easily if you over-tighten the clamp. He said that these routinely last 20 years.
