I have Simpson/Lawrence davits on my Santorin Sloop and is strong and safe enough to carry my AB 8'9" dinghy thru hell & high water. Have actually carried 2 dinghys on a Frers 60. Same davits. Davits mounted on stern. Stern must be beefed up due to flex. I have solar panels on aft deck, also moved stern light on end of davit for better night vision. BTW the boom on the sloop is longer and balances fine. Rrrrrr matey.

I believe that there are few davits that are strong enough and stable enough to support your dinghy while sailing. Maybe Simpson Davits, but they will cost more than you want to pay...and I am not sure that I have seen Simpson on a Maramu.
