Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Installation problem for stainless steel cast mixing elbow for YANMAR engine 4JH3
VLADIMIR SONSEV
Hi Jamei, I am very happy to hear from you. I just replased the mixing elbow. I bought new fabricated elbow. I did j want to try pin change. Because it too much risk that a pin breaks. I also could not find a shop that can fix cast elbow fast and inexpensive. Currently I am handling all problems that are happening on the boat. I did not try to fix the watermaker. I will do that at home. I hope to be in Annapolis in May. Write me: sonsev52@... Will see you soon. Vladimir Hey Vladimir, hope life is good on "Life is Good?" I am sure you are having a good time down in Guadeloupe. I was there last year about this time, right before we met at the St. James Club in Antigua. Sure wish I was there again now. I am up here still in Annapolis on the hard waiting for my new engine. I pulled out the original and it had extensive saltwater intrusion in the exhaust manifold and inside the head. I am installing a new D3-150, which should be here in mid May. In the meantime I am wrapping up a lot of upgrades to the boat. Take care and hope to see you sometime soon. What are your plans for the summer? What ever happened to White Star? Thanks, Jamie Wendell s/v Phantom Amel 54 On Sunday, March 6, 2016 4:07 PM, "Vladimir Sonsev sonsev52@...
