Yep, I get it, and I get the reason, which makes sense to me.  I've got two insurance companies now telling me that I have to comply with the recommendations of the surveyor.  The old insurance company had to have a second surveyor come to look at the boat (at their expense) to confirm that I didn't have to.  Unfortunately they don't cover the Caribbean or S. Pacific.  I've still got some other companies I've contacted but haven't heard back from them.

Do I need to remind you of the Amel Prime Directive? If Captain Amel thought something was important, it would be there. If it is not there, you understand, don't you?
