Alan,

I really like Phil Ash at Gulf Harbor. When we were there he removed and had 8 of our turnbuckels re-chromeplated. I remember about 300, probably USD.

Phil Ash at Gulf Harbour Rigging has just finished replacing all the standing rigging on Elyse as it was now 14 years old. (with the exception of the main backstay which was replaced 3 years ago when we put insulators on it for the SSB anatenna).

I thought you may be interested to know that the whole job cost NZ$13,000, (US$9,000, EU8,000) which included a few extras such as new ballooner halyard, new gennaker halyard and covering the stbd top cap stay to prevent chafe on the gennaker. We used the existing turnbuckles.

Cheers
