Yes Derick, I check the side, as well as the one in Front. Put them on and off and tried to start…
What surprised me is that even with these off, the genset refused to stay on…

I am definitely open to all suggestion, and reading the recent post will order very soon the gasket and spare exhaust manifold.
But, should it be a blocked exhaust manifold, wouldn’t be the “Fault Breaker” (check engine) who pop?
In my case it is the “Field Breaker” (Check generator)

At least I am in a place where I will be able to receive parts and should I need to qualify repair people!!!

Did
you check the circuit breaker on the aft side of the
generator?  Also, if the pounding of the waves shook loose
some carbon buildup in your exhaust manifold/hose, the
exhaust may be blocked causing the generator to not
start.
Glad you got
into port in Puerto Rico safely, sounds like a hairy
crossing!
