Hi

I recharge the electric outboard indirectly from the solar panels, meaning from the boat's AGM batteries.  I have both the 12V charger and the 220V charger.  With an inflatable zodiac dinghy, and 2 persons in it, we purred along at 4 knots.  The daily recharge time was about an hour, but obviously it depends on how low the outboard battery was. 

The Torqeedo can also be directly charged from solar panels, bought from Torqeedo, but that is not worth it with the setup we have on Travel Bug.
