Inside the engine compartment on the back side of the generator is a box containing a contactor switch. This is the automatic mechanical switch that selects between the generator and shore power. Inside the box, mounted to the side of the contactor is another switch or auxiliary contact. It is marked Telemecanique LA 8 DN 11. Does anyone know the purpose of this or what this is used for?
