Shaft alternators for SM are currently no more available at Amel. It's also quite complex to setup from other sources.
May I suggest a great and modern solution I've installed on our SM2K. I'm very happy and impressed by the performance. [Note] We owned fro 15 years an Amel Mango with an alternator shaft, it's a good solution but it's not so efficient in power generation and it's quite noisy The system we've installed is Watt & Sea Cruising 600 Watts 970 mm : Cruising hydro generator The inox support, setup and wiring was made in La Rochelle by Fred.
