Thanks. Do you have to keep port locker partially open when you use washdown hose? Is your hose connection in the locker? Do you shot off water to the original anchor wash outlet?
I am reluctant to make a hole in the deck for washdown connector but I have to make good  improvement.

I installed a "Y" connector in the hose in the port bow locker.  A 12 ft (3m) hose is kept in the locker and works well with the high pressure anchor wash pump for getting mud off of the chain before it gets on the boat.  I think you will want to use a high pressure pump to clean the chain and anchor.  Low pressure won't be useful for that.
