Hi Oliver/Sabrina,
We are looking to start our dream and have narrowed down our choice of yacht to an Amel sm2000.
We have been in negotiations over one in Curacao to only be informed it has been sold yesterday which means we have to start looking again.
Just to give you a bit background both my wife and i are sailors and we also race out of cape town south africa, we have been searching for tow years for the right boat and recently i flew to turkey to look at one for sale there, we have also been fortunate to be invited on one in which is situated in cape town on its circumnavigation, and both of us have fell in love with the Amel design.
(the one in ct was an sm2000 built in 2002).
Therefore are well aware of its capabilities /design and sea worthiness.
As it will only be my wife and i sailing most of the time the feedback we have recived from couples sailing by themselves has also just confrimed our choice of yacht.
Please could you send me more info and pictures .
Kind Regards
Steve
Hello,
our dream is almost over and we have to think about selling our boat which we really, really love.
We bought it from an owner who took very much care of the boat and sold it to us because we went on care very good for it.
That's why we are looking for someone who goes on with the "tradition" and is knowing that an Amel is not just a boat!!!
We are right know in the Caribbean.
If someone knows someone who is interested in a well maintained Super Maramu 2000 build 2003, let us know.
Oliver & Sabrina
