I checked the small capacitors as well as the large ones. I am not sure what means “measure the continuity to the compressor case”. When I plug the air conditioning: it trips the power. If I disconnect the wires in the harness going to the compressor, then it doesn’t trip. So by “having a bad compressor” does it means that I need a new one? Or can it be rebuilt? According to Climate Control, they are 2 Climma Marine person in Sint Maarten, I will contact them, then likely go back there. Thanks for the info on the Dometic 10. Will it also power the Calpeda cooling pump? Or does it required modifications… Sincerely, Alexandre --------------------------------------------

Date: Wednesday, June 28, 2017, 12:34 PM Alexandre, I am leaving the first bridge tomorrow. I would check the 3 small capacitors that run the fan. I guess you checked the 2 big ones that work with the compressor. did you measure the continuity to the compressor case to the power leads of the compressor? I think you have a bad compressor and bad fan capacitors--remember there is a time delay. If you bring a AC tech on board I think he will find the same. The other very obscure possibility is that the compressor is out of gas. However that is something that we can not do. The compressor gas is measured in ounces.
