You need the "O" rings to be at the HP end of the vessels. So the water from the HP pump goes into the first vessel (track the HP hose) that is where the O ring should be and then the water flows into the next vessel with HP hose or probably a solid stainless steel HP pipe link the O ring needs to be at this end and then the water exits the vessels and out over the side of the boat.

If you have them the wrong way round then there will be very little product water, as you have found.
