Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Gulf Stream

Eric That one is a bit different, but the Navy has changed things, even restricted some sites.. I have patted myself on the back when a cold eddie moved me faster than thru Hell’s gate and the next time sailed 8 ½ knots for 24 hours with 0 SOG. Guess that’s the fun of the gulf stream Enjoy the ride, By the way, saw an old Tarzan movie and the Leopard woman who found kimberlite. Dang! Ric Bali Hai SN 24

HEric The best site is Johns Hopkins APL oceans sensing (http://jhuapl.edu/avhrr). There is also NOAA Marine forecast and NOAA ocean prediction Center (http://opc.ncep.noaa.gov/atl) under headings Atlantic and Atlantic high seas. The navy has sites. There isn’t much information on the Labrador current that I am familiar with. Ric Bali Hai SN24 Annapolis

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has some links to Gulf Stream data for Northeast USA. I have a few links but would like more. Fair Winds Eric
