Hi Duane. I wish I could give you a step by step guide. My solution is embarrassingly simple. I called coastal climate. They handed me over to the British guy. He asked if I was getting a click on the thermostat. I said no. He said turn the slot screw on the back slowly while testing for the click. No click then thermostat is no good. $35 later and easy install it works now.
