Dear Bill,
While we all love you, really appreciate your contributions and are so glad you didn’t “go dark” after selling your SM "Bebe", I’ve gotta say that 90 word salutation of yours is a bit over the top.
It smacks of commercialism with the link to your business and the legalistic “don’t-sue-me” disclaimer, it sucks up bandwith for SSB downloads, overflows cell phone displays, and, while we’re all proud of our volunteer activities and honors, most don’t feel
a need to broadcast them with rank, honorary title and all.
How about a modest,
“Bill Rouse, X-Bebe, SMxxx”
instead of,
“
