Hi Barbara:

To disengage the outhaul motor/gearbox from the Aderson Winch just remove the bolt on
the top of the arm that attaches to the Anderson winch. (See the photos section for
pictures of the winch and the bolt). You can then use a piece of line to attach to the clue,
haul the sail out manually and cleat it at the end of the boom on the cleat that should be
either attached to the end of the boom or cut into the boom.
