The owner's manual says in hot weather the grease under the foil can liquify and leak down the forestay and onto the deck. It says "Don't worry about the furler, it's sealed"...yeah, right.

There has been an oil leak in the genoa furling gear in the bottom
furler but I cannot get the bottom plate off. Any ideas?
