My main sail foil has sheared off just at the collar that connects it to the furler motor. I note from s similar recent post about a genoa that it may be possible to just lower the foil a few cm and reconnect. Would anyone know if this may be possible with the mainsail foil? I guess I could go up and see how much, if any, excess there is at the top. Failing this, any other solution?
