Hello Bill,
Thank you for the advice for the washing machine.  I dont like hot wet clothes either, so will not use the drier.  Now for the Kiwi Lemon Cake
11/2 cups flour
11/2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
125 (4oz) butter
1/2 cup milk
pinch salt
11/2 tsp Baking powder
grated rind of lemon
Mix together add eggs & milk & melted butter.  Pour into  grased tin & bake approx 40mins 180c.  While hot pour over juice of a lemon & 1/4 cup sugar mixed together.

Go to the files section of this website and download "Washer Dryer Manual." If you have a problem I will email it to you. Hint: Do not try the dryer function "Sechage Seul" unless you like really hot damp clothes.

Please tell your wife that I have been searching for lemon cake as good as she made for us...can't find it.
