JB,

Your Yanmar was not original to your boat. This damper plate was probably selected at the time your boat was repowered.

I believe what you show in the photo is a Centa Marine Damper Plate. Try searching here: http://www.centa.info/?show=products&c=&what=marine

I have been stuck in Empuriabrava since early May because of the lousy job done by the Port Napoleon boatyard which nearly sank our Meltem. My insurance company has been great and is now suing them for recovery.
Bottom line, plenty of time to go through problems.
The boatyard here (Empuriabrava in near Cadaques, Catalunia, in the Med) has been trying to source an elastic coupling and the dealer, after one month, told them it may take at least 15 weeks to get one. They can only source that part in Calalunia, but they asked my help to find one on my own if I can.
Any help is appreciated. I hope the photos are good enough.
