That is the same size as I have decided on. They are only 180w , 12v but I have three 140w already. Since what I have is three 12v panels in series ,I was advised to stay with 12v panels and connect them in the series ,this way I do not need to add another controller ,since what I have can handle up to 1200 watts.

Could you tell me how you mounted them ,did you buy the mounts or make them ?

Hi  Pat, I know you said you had a new plan but I was on the boat so here are my panel sizes. Two panels mounted aft of the cockpit , port side almost touching each other each panel 1425mm X 650mm. Swiveling on the rail, 1/3 in 2/3 out. friction holds them, no stay.
