I agree with Wolfgang.  Definitely the first place to check.  Often cleaning the pressure plates (24 pump switch off!) and then corrosion x’ing them will lubricate and prevent future issues.  Often there is a small metal tab on the side of the Square D pressure switch with will “reset the switch”. Check for that.  Then get to know how it works.  Pressure cutoff etc.  Since it is an accumulator tank, get to know that as well.  Inattention can damage the tank, with too little pressure on the air side.  
It's a bit confusing at first, but understandable with some reading.
