Re: Bow truster problem

Thanks Slavko,
when you fit the new hub and propeller be sure 1) you pin the hub to the shaft. 2) the propeller fits fully and snugly to the hub, pushed completely into place. 3) you tighten the screws fully and be sure they are well into the hub by looking to the back and seeing the tips equal to the back surface. Since you have lost two already it is likely there is an error in your process so proceed carefully. Lastly as a preventative use loctite on the threads.
Kind Regards

Danny, you have put it as it happened. I know that maneuvering to port side propeller is pushing towards the body of bow thruster and when maundering to starboard side propeller is pulling and all force is on nylon screws. Maybe the hub is the problem, I do not know. I need to order new propellers, hub and nylon screws. When I order a propeller Amel send hub and screws as well or I have to order that as well.
It is interesting that after I did last repair  all worked well in my boat berth. After I lost first propeller I did not change hub. Maybe that was my fault.
