As some of you may recall, in January I posted a notice regarding the availability of SM Genoa Furler rebuild kits made by the original manufacturer toย Amel (OEM). I negotiated a free motor for you includedย in those kits. At the time theย OEM had an inventory of new-old stock on the shelf. Those kits have sold out. There is currently a limited number of rebuild kits with no motors available for 2500 Swiss Franksย plus shipping. When these are gone, they are gone. I do not know him well enough to vouch for him, but he is elderly and slow to respond. It will be a little frustrating. Patience and tenacity will help. He is the only person who has these parts. In the past several years I have recommended him to other SM owners who have purchased parts and even a complete Geno Furler (the complete furlers are gone).ย When the parts are gone, they are gone. If it were me, I would buy these even if I did not need them today, and even if I never needed them because they will always be worth what you paid for them to other Amel owners. A complete ProFurl replacement for your Amel Genoa Furler is about 10,000 โฌ, and Reckmann is a lot more. Bill If your furler looks like this, this kit is for you.
