maybe you have/ had the same on your boat - regarding the Furuno NavNet VX2 screen on the helm station and the ICOM VHF on the nav table.
Both screens show something like black or significantly darker spots/ areas - on the inside of the screen glass.
It seems to be related to heat (4 month on the hard in Aruba). Since this time the signs have been very clear.
IMO UV light etc. can't be the cause as both devices are very protected most of the time.
Do you know if it makes sense to open the devices and try to clean it or what ever?
Do you know other solutions?
Or is this discoloration irremovable?
