Re: [Amel] bow lazarette drain plug

I have had one of my stanchion bases leaking and have the same problem.

I have removed the plug and put dry deck on the bottom of both lockers. I am
also thinking of covering the contents with plastic sheeting on passages.

Subject: [Amel] bow lazarette drain plug

Our SM2K has been getting salt water in the bow lazarettes, even after we
changed the seals on the doors. I am curious if there were any reason why we
shouldn't take out the plug in the floor of the port lazarette and leave
that drain open so the water can always drain into the anchor locker and
from there into the bilge.

Thanks in advance, Mark
