Hi all:

Just a general question. Does anybody know what type of fiberglass resin Amel used in building their Super Maramu boats? Is it polyester resin or vinyl ester resin?

Secondly, when doing repairs, either structural or cosmetic, does it matter which type of resin you use? Can you, for instance, use polyester resin to repair a fiberglass structure that was laid up with vinyl ester resin?

Inquiring minds want to know.
