This is very interesting to me because in the spring 2009, in New Zealand, we were aware of 3 yachts that had problems with Rochna's galvanizing flaking off. This was before the date stated in the recall notice. I wonder if the flaking of galvanizing had anything to do with "other" production problems, or if is the same issue. My experience is that if a manufacturer chooses to knock-off someone else's design, they may also choose to cut other corners. OK, I know Rochna's BS about not knocking off the Wasi Bügel...I have always doubted their story.
