The only similarity beetween the 2 is the rollbar. The Wasi looks like it's a tryangle piece of flat steel with a roll bar welded on. Where as the rocna has a bit more in the design with the flukes and tip.
Our 40 kg Rocna has been faultless in all conditions.

This is very interesting to me because in the spring 2009, in New Zealand, we were aware of 3 yachts that had problems with Rochna's galvanizing flaking off. This was before the date stated in the recall notice. I wonder if the flaking of galvanizing had anything to do with "other" production problems, or if is the same issue.

My experience is that if a manufacturer chooses to knock-off someone else's design, they may also choose to cut other corners. OK, I know Rochna's BS about not knocking off the Wasi Bügel...I have always doubted their story.
