Hi Bill, Does your Victron Energy MPPT have a ground wire connection for the AC side? Thanks Chris Hemera SM031 At Turgutreis

I only had enough room at the top of the EMEK Marine arch for three of the 135 watt panels. They are wired in series producing a maximum of 75 volts to the controller, and my controller takes a maximum of 75 volts. While at anchor, I run the generator to make water, to heat water, to wash clothes, and to top off the batteries. Bill Rouse On Aug 13, 2015 5:59 PM, "Alexandre Uster von Baar uster@... Have you tried rebooting it? On BeBe, 387, it is powered by the toggle switch on the permanent 24-12 volt transformer. It is likely the sensor as Alan stated. There are great instructions written by Gary Silver in either Files or Photos. There is a US distribution center. Google and you will find it. Bill Rouse

Hi Eric,
I bought an IB5124 direct from "ifm efector" in Australia $225 approx. It's a 2 wire sensor rather than the original Amel supplied 3 wire...its just a matter of connecting the appropriate 2 wires as per Bill's original instruction. Cheers Alan Elyse SM437

i need to replace the speed transducer on my Super Maramu. I have Raymarine instruments and the speed transducer is an Airmar 20-399-01. I am thinking of replacing it with Airmar's sonic speed transducer, the Airmar’s CS4500 which is marketed by Raymarine as the Raymarine A102119. Has anyone made the switch? This is a single plug sonic transducer that seems to get good reviews. Mark Pitt ASM #419 "Sabbatical III"

Re: [Amel Yacht Owners] Insurance quotes
Hi Bob We have remained with Panteanius as were insured with their UK business whilst the boat was over there, and for the trip around to Australia. I cannot complain about their cruising coverage area around Australia nor their price but I did not shop around nor have any claims yet. I simply transferred my policy to the Australian office when they opened here about two years ago and since I was an existing customer they honoured UK prices which were apparently significantly cheaper than the normal Australian prices (according to them).
