Actually meant to write the "inbound earth was connected to the galvanic isolator".

Have you considered an isolation transformer this besides isolating your boat from a galvanic perspective, offers some safety benefits leaving you less reliant of the integrity of the shore power system.

Hi Gang,

I did not expect such an enthusiastic response to my “impeller blade trap” gizmo… but it offers a real solution to the short life of Onan impellers.

As I am in Italy for the winter, I could also honcho a group buy then ship the US bound units to the US of A.

Eric,

I just found some for you...go to eBay and search on "Diruptor"

you will find a number of sizes available from sellers in the US.

Last time I bought one it was from Amel...the time before that it was in a marine shop in Guadalupe.

Alex,

I installed the same as Mike and Peta.

This webpage is for the 16 amp, but thay have a 32 amp version which is what I bought.

Call me suspicious, but without the meter, there is no indication that any of the other devices are doing anything...and I have been in a marina where the needle jumped up quite a bit when a steel hu,, M/V docked next to me. I asked to move and when I moved, the needle went back to normal. I guess I prefer knowing more than believing!
