B and G 213 MHU windset PCB or replacement.
Dear Amalians, my windsensor ( MHU) model B & G 213 finally gave up. Apparently B & G cannot supply the PCB , and i am in doubt if they will in the future.

Nah,
Amateur class. You should go for the new Mercury V12 600HP. 2400 HP should get Kimberlite moving nicely for at least 30 minutes before you run out of fuel... Regards, Arno Luijten SV Luna

Kevin,
You might make a quick call and email to amel.caraibes@... +5960690381021 in Martinique. Alban Leroy is the manager there and when we had our (SM429) Vetus replaced they had one in stock. They can air ship internationally. Bob, KAIMI

Doug, Ill check with a Vetus distributor to see if they can provide a new shaft flange assembly. Let me know if anyone else has had to replace this and possibly a part#.

I have a spare Vetus coupling that looks to be from Vetus directly and would be easier for a machine shop to get to the Amel version. Came with my boat as a spare when I purchased 18 months ago. (Thanks Denis!) I’m on the east coast and could ship on Monday or Tuesday. Moving a son into college this weekend. Then you can replace mine when you get one from Amel, if that gets you back on the water more quickly. I’ve ordered directly from Vetus in the UK and they ship pretty quickly to the US as well if you chose to go that route. And the studs are welded onto the center hub. Re: Vetus Coupling Failure
Unless something has been changed, bolts and nuts secure the Vetus coupling to the Output Coupling of the ZF25. Some owners have used threaded rods with nuts on each side. Whatever you use, make sure it is tight and monitor tightness for at least 3-6 months, maybe forever. Use appropriate Loctite. Here is a snippet from the instructions in my Amel Book Supplement Pages.

Hi Kevin, I cant help other than to say these used to be readily available when I needed new bushes. But I will say you were very lucky it was the vetus coupling that failed. One SM I know got a prop wrap and the pressure caused the housing of the C drive to split. Regards Danny SM 299 Ocean Pearl

Sorry, I did not read your entire post. I would still disconnect the coupling and disk brake to see if the drive spins freely. I would also check your prop. The removal of this coupling has been covered several times on this site . You will also have to fabricate 4 new bolts from threaded rod. I have included a few photos of the replacement of my coupling, the Vetus disc from vetus and the remanufactured disck from Amel, and a method to remove the disk if it is stuck on the C drive shaft.

This is a Vetus coupling that is remanufactured by Amel. It is only available from Amel. Unfortunately, they are closed until the end of the month. The coupling is very strong, and I am surprised it is broken. Have you disconnected it to see if the C drive is jammed with something? Did you run into something very substantial with your prop? Hello,
we are currently stuck n Rockland, ME after hitting a lobster pot and fracturing our Vetus Coupling. In addition to replacing the rubber bushings (Vetus kit #K018), I also need to replace the broken aluminum hub assembly (two pieces) and possibly new 8 cm bolts. Does anyone have Vetus part#’s and possibly a US Supplier to FedEx my order? many thanks to this great, supportive group. -- Kevin & Kristen Schmit KIANA SM #362
