Re: [Amel] Re: Rear Toilet - how to clear blockage in curved pipe that enters rear holding tank
Yes, I had the same problem with our holding tank pipes too last year. I managed to free them with a combination of using an acid (guess it was an organic stuff) and a cable they use for pulling wire

While not Italy, you might want to think about Corsica PortaVeccio. then take the ferry to France or Italy. It is safe weather wise as well as in general.

Re: [Amel] Re: Small corked cavity on front of keel - is this for a forward facing sonar ?
Just next days I'm fitting an Echopilot with the professional sensor. Thus no experience yet. I'll put the sensor 20cm behind the existing sounder: I'll let you know with shots as well.

Re: [Amel] Small corked cavity on front of keel - is this for a forward facing sonar ?
Hi Colin&Lauren,
it should be the receiver of the speed log, being the transmitter up on the hull some 70cm forward.
These two poles must look each-other, and must not be painted.
Look at the SM2k

Small corked cavity on front of keel - is this for a forward facing sonar ?
Dear Colleagues
On slipping Island Pearl II today following our 11,779 n.mile trip I was very surprised to see what appeared to be a corked off cavity on the forward facing leading edge of the keel

Steve,
Yes, that is my spares list, although some things have changed. I will delete that one and upload a new one in a few days.
Regarding spares for the dishwasher, I do not have any suggestions
