Hello Jean Pierre,
Interesting that the price of a non-standard engine/drive system is above that of a genuine Amel. I think most of us would be unhappy at the thought of changing the drive system.

If you look for past messages about the watermaker you will find that the majority never use a steriliser and rely on flushing with product water after use especially if the machine is not

Danny when you flush the unit be VERY sure there is no chlorine in the tank water as it will kill the membrane. We have always used a charcoal filter in our fresh water flush line to keep chlorine out
